How could their team appeal to founders without a limber, modern message? One that clearly answered why the right partner for them was CI.
What better way to do it than with a website that reflects an idea beyond the standards of today?

To attract their target audience, joy had to be sparked. A message centered around people had to be built. An experience had to be conveyed—what working with CI is truly like. Anyone familiar with VC knows that the industry never stops moving—so we led with this motion, using subtle movement and interactive design to convey constant change and growth.
And rather than focusing on just the companies within the CI portfolio, we highlighted the people behind them. Tight portraits and an illustration language put people in focus, promoting innovative founders and leaders, while at the same time showcasing CI’s commitment to inclusivity, prominent leadership, and competitive market position.

Together with the CI team, we developed a sub-brand to establish their team as a needed voice within Cisco’s globally recognized presence.
