What happens when you show, not just tell.
After more than a year working on a retailing technology campaign with IBS Software, we realized there was still something missing: a clear, compelling demonstration of what the product actually delivers—for the airline implementing it and the travelers experiencing it.
That distinction—between the business buyer and the end user—is often hard to land in B2B. Too often, the customer experience becomes background noise in favor of backend benefits.
So we flipped the script.
No we did not shoot on a plane. We built the entire environment on a soundstage, using a custom fuselage set, a tight crew of six, and a cast of just one lead and five extras.
A traveler's journey, built on a platform.
IBS Software develops backend platforms that empower airlines to create seamless, rich digital experiences both for their customers and their employees. How do you bring that to life?
Creating a long-form film, nearly five minutes in length, we follow a single traveler navigating an unexpected change of plans while in the middle of a flight. His journey unfolds inside an airline’s app, quietly powered by IBS' retailing platform. Concurrently, the traveler acts as an evangelist for the brand itself, speaking to the benefits of IBS while managing his trip.
Real story. Without the feature dump.
Working closely with the client, we crafted a script that moves naturally—a narrative driven by action, not explanation. It avoids the trap of listing features, and instead invites the viewer into a relatable, real-world moment.
Character development was important and carefully considered, based on both on regional and demographic data, and final deployment.
The power of long-form done right.
This project is proof that long-form content still earns its place, especially when you need to show rather than tell. The full piece was paired with 30- and 60-second cutdowns, shared organically to drive a highly targeted audience to the main film.
